The Love Your Neighbor Blanket Collection
A collection created to stand with people who are vulnerable, overlooked, or in need of protection. Inspired by God's call to seek justice, show mercy, and love our neighbors, these blankets represent compassion, dignity, courage, and care for others.
Through Acacia Grove Giving, these blankets are thoughtfully handmade with the hope of bringing warmth and comfort while giving back to organizations whose work helps protect and advocate for people in vulnerable circumstances.
Inspired by Scripture . Created with Purpose
A cozy, hand-knit chunky blanket inspired by Jesus' call to love our neighbors and care for those around us. This blanket represents compassion, kindness, dignity, and standing with those who are vulnerable or in need of protection.
"Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself." -Mark 12:31. A call to show others the same love, kindness, and care we would want for ourselves.
"He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?" -Micah 6:8. A call to pursue what is right while treating others with compassion and humility.
"Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy." -Proverbs 31:9. An encouragement to speak up for those who are vulnerable and whose voices may not be heard.
"Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy." -Psalm 82:3. A call to protect and care for those who are vulnerable, struggling, or in need.
"Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." -Galatians 6:2. A beautiful picture of coming alongside others and helping them through difficult seasons.
"And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins." -1 Peter 4:8. A message of choosing love, compassion, forgiveness, and grace.
