Your Ladybug Knitting Co. blanket is handmade with care and is meant to be enjoyed for years to come. When you order a blanket and open your package you will receive a small care instructions guide that you can hold on to as a reminder for the future!
Washing
Wash only as needed to help preserve the softness and shape of your blanket.
- Hand wash whenever possible or machine wash on a gentle/delicate cycle with cold water.
- Use small amount of mild liquid detergent.
- Wash separately and/or in a mesh bag.
- Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals.
Drying
Dry only if you don't have additional accessories.
- Lay flat to air dry whenever possible or in the dryer on delicate/air dry, depending on your dryer brand, on the lowest setting possible with 10-15 minute increments.
- Gently reshape the blanket while damp when air drying.
- Avoid high heat, as it may affect the fibers and shape of the blanket.
Between Washes
To refresh your blanket between washes, gently air it out in a clean well-ventilated area. You may use a spray and lightly mist the whole blanket and let it air out before using again.
For small spills or spots, gently spot clean as soon as possible to help prevent stains from setting.
General Care
- Avoid pulling or snagging the knitted loops and additional accessories.
- Keep away from sharp objects and rough surfaces that may scratch the fibers.
- Store in a clean, dry place when not in use.
- When drying in the dryer avoid using dryer sheets at all costs as it will affect the texture.
Because each blanket is handmade, slight variations in texture and appearance are natural and make your blanket uniquely yours.
